Charity Unleashed
Great idea for a Christmas present if you have any relatives/friends in or near Sheffield. Charity Unleashed have put together a book of vouchers for free/discount stuff in the Sheffield area up to a value of £1000. The book costs £50, and £15 of it goes to a local cancer charity. I don't know if there are other examples in other cities, but this is the kind of great idea that deserves to become a franchise.Full details of the offers here.
Advent Conspiracy
ht Zoomtard . Incredibly simple idea - buy one less gift, and use the money to make a difference. They've dug wells to provide fresh water for 200,000 people with the money released so far. Lots of great ideas and info on the Advent Conspiracy website.
