The City That Never Sleeps
I had never seen Martin Scorsese's After Hours until last night. In fact, the only reason I had added it onto my Quickflix queue was due to the Scorsese factor, and then as I sat down to watch it last night and the opening credits rolled I was struck by some of the names in the cast. It read like a roll call of forgotten actresses that need more roles, don't you think?

Cinema Releases for the Week 05/11/09Capitalism: A Love Story - I just can't get excited for Michael Moore's latest, despite enjoying Sicko much more than others. Case 39 - A new horror movie starring Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper that's so bad it has been on the shelf for three years. I personally loved how Margaret Pomeranz kept commenting on how weird Zellweger looked when she reviewed it on At the Movies last night, and mentioning how she "sounds as if she has a mouthful of pins".
