A Life Celebrated
Death seems to always be sad business. When a family member or friend dies they leave this imprint on our lives from where they once resided. A close family friend died recently. That statement sounds so cold given the warmth he brought to my family. It probably is more indicative of how I dealt with his passing. I wanted to stay on the other side of the grief. I could not allow it to swallow me up.   His funeral was a real testament to the person he was and the legacy he left behind. He was 60 years old and his high school football team and fraternity brothers all attended that were still living.

The Sparkle World - It Is Real
The light bulb went off, only it took me a while to recognize I needed the light in the first place. I was happy living in the dark, where it is cool and you are not responsible for your emotional body. I am referencing clearing out negativity in your life and then clearing it out of your brain. As far as we have come as women, it seems we are still sexualized in the real “male” dominated versions of the world. It is like because we have a vagina, the place where all the pleasure of the world is produced and life is given, we are just “too much” for society to deal with equally.   It hit me last night when I visited my daughter’s school.
