Hometown
Where is my hometown? Or rather, where I am from, exactly? Facebook asks your Hometown… and I’ve always left this field blank. Does this mean where I live now? Or where I grew up? I don’t think I can pinpoint where I grew up. I lived in Georgia until I was almost 14, then was moved to middle Tennessee. I lived in two houses there- one for about five months, then the other house until I left home to go away to finish college (about 6 years). I lived on campus in east Tennessee for the remainder of my college years (3 years), then moved around the area for another four years. Now, I’ve lived in back in Georgia for 4 years

Four Years Already
Four years ago today, was my last day of work at Bank of Tennessee. It was a pretty sad day, because in only 10 months there, I had formed some wonderful friendships… and actually liked my job! Yesterday morning on my way to work… there was a woman behind me in traffic just singing away. She made me smile, because first, I know I’m not the only weirdo in the world singing in the car… and second, I started flipping through the radio pre-sets to see if I could figure out what song she was singing. I’m considering changing my name to Jennifer. I don’t know why, but when people can’t remember my name… they always seem to call me Jennifer. This has happened several times before… it’s always Jennifer or Heather - for whatever reason. At work, we’ve been doing some advertising on a local radio station.
