YIKES! I’m behind….
I cannot believe I haven’t posted anything in over a month. I HAVE been actively creating, but just haven’t had the time to put it into the computer. I’ve got a couple exciting things brewing….I finally have ordered My Digital Studio and also bought a portable external harddrive to load my photos onto my laptop so I can actually use MDS. As soon as I get the software opened, loaded and played with, I’ll be posting lots!
I also am in the midst of a really exciting project at my son’s school. I’ve been making holiday cards with the grade 7 class to send to Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan. I did

Scrapbook projects from my retreat
Here’s a look at some of the scrapbooking I got done during my retreat at Pender Harbour. When I go away and host the event, my main goal is to assist everyone in getting their projects done and choosing layouts, colour schemes etc. that they are happy with. I played around with my Sizzix machine a lot, as I’ve got some new dies I wanted to try. There’s so much to do with the Sizzix, and I don’t use it to its full potential yet. Anyway, here’s some scrapbook pages I worked on. Some need titles and journaling still, but that will happen this week before I put them away!
Pender Harbour Retreat
I spent an amazing weekend at my brother-in-law’s cabin in Madeira Park, Pender Harbour with some friends scrapbooking. The weather was glorious – full sunshine everyday. The view was spectacular (ocean front) and the company was totally entertaining. Here’s some photos of us “working” and of Marnie (not me) getting her groove on to Santana during a much needed creative break! I’ll post some of the finished products I was working on in the upcoming days.
