Holiday Knitting
In between basting the turkey and preparing out Thanksgiving meal, I'd knit a few rows of my Starry Lace Scarf, knit in Ellyn Cooper's Zohar's Sock Yarn. I got this at Rhinebeck last year and love this colorway. We got this cool new yarn at
Mish Mash
Today ended up being a day off. Even though it's the day before Thanksgiving, other than some early morning shopping, I had no commitments. It was a nice feeling. After food shopping (at 7am!) Cabled Cowl
There's a hot new knitting project at Knitting Central that I'm really excited about. It's the Easy, Giant Cabled Cowl by Dina Mor. "Infinity" Cowls are everywhere now and are easy to knit up.Cynthia knit one up in Cape Cod Fibers, Lobster Pot Worsted Cashmere. Needless to say it's magnificient. While visiting the store, my daughter tried it on. I hadn't seen it one anyone before and immediately loved it. (I'm sure the model had something to do with it).
