I've gone through dry spells where my clothing has been either bad or blah.......and I think blah is worse. As a baby of the '80's who grew up in the '90's, I somehow managed to avoid most of those disastrous '90's trends (thanks, in part to mom and dad who always told me I could do anything...except grow a rat tail). I love browsing fashion magazines, retail Web sites, thrift stores and fashion blogs. I've worked retail. I've tried my hand at designing, sometimes with divine results, often with less than perfect results. THE day.
Today is THE day. As in, THE day before Thanksgiving. THE day we (are rumored to) get released from the office two hours early (eight hour workday, what-what!) THE day I hop on a Red Eye to fly to Connecticut. THE day I deal with the stresses of traveling on Thanksgiving Eve (and already have the acne to prove it). Oh yes, my friends. This is THE day. I dressed comfortably for work and plane. These seem like clothes I can sleep in. Shoes: Toms Jeans: DPD (Express) Tank: Express

Record Breaker
I spotted this shirt for ten buckaroos at F21 yesterday and fell in love. I snatched it up immediately and resolved to sport it at work today. I mean, hey, it’s Thanksgiving week. If I’m working this week, I make the dress code. Game on, my friends. I like how I’m being all tough there, but really, it’s totally cool to wear T’s wear I work. I just generally choose not to.

Saturday the boyf. and I attended a wrap party for a film he just finished shooting. Before the party, he said he wanted me to look sexy and funky. Sexy AND funky? That’s a tall order. I mean, I’m down with one or the other, but BOTH!!?? At the same TIME??!!! Since I had a feeling there might be some discrepancy our perceptions of funky and sexy, I instructed the boyf. to pick an outfit for me. And now for the third and final installment of sister stylefyles. As you well REMEMBER, I had sent sis a pair of five dollar jeans from Target that were just a smidgen too small for myself.
