UFO Report Toronto November 27th 2009 1:20 AM
We received the following early this morning: I've just immediately run inside to document this as best I can. It is 1:30AM.I'm normally a skeptic, but am just beside myself with adrenaline...I live in Toronto, ON. I was just returning to my mid-rise apt. building from walking my dog. When crossing the street from the east side to the west, I noticed a strange light in the western sky... just a bit further than the CNE grounds.Once across the street, I stood and stared at the light. It looked like an elongated 'pencil' or stubby track-light bulb. As I watched it sit in a stationary position, it seemed to tilt with the left side dipping southwards. I
Busy Weeks Ahead
Good Monday morning! We had a goodly weekend just past, and I hope that you did as well. I am personally very happy that through the social networking site Facebook we were able to reconnect with the brilliant, and beautiful Bobbie Atristain who is a parapsychologist in Virginia USA, and an old, and dear friend. This was truly the highlight of a pretty amazing past two days! We also received an anticipated, and quite intriguing overseas phone call Sunday about a possible joint project that I will bring you further details on as plans are firmed up. This plus the fact that I am now juggling two investigations makes me very,
Inconvenient Facts
I've been trying to figure out why I'm getting so much attention from certain political stripes when, to be quite frank, I'm really neither one nor the other... ...then it came to me... My username on most forums and whatnot has always been "Inconvenient Facts"... I've been using it since 2002... long before Al Gore made a movie about something I actually believe in and take quite seriously, global warming and green house gas emissions. To be honest there too, it wasn't Al Gore nor any "post-Y2K" pundit that alerted me to these things, but Dr. David Suzuki who was talking about this many moons ago.
The Jersey Devil
Recently in conversation with a fellow paranormal enthusiast the topic of the New Jersey Devil came up. It is a famous bit of Jersey folklore and there have been several report of him/it since the early 19th century. We don't really have an equivalent to the Jersey Devil here in Canada that I am aware of, but his story is similar to the Spring Heeled Jack creature from English Victorian era folklore. Hmmmm with that toothy grin you would think he'd need the services of a competent NJ
Feeling A Bit Morbid This Morning
I'm feeling a bit morbid this morning. Quite possibly Matthew is to blame because he introduced me to a relatively obscure, unique, and most interesting band called the Tiger Lillies out of the UK. Calling them a band is a bit of a misnomer as they are more like musical theatre of the very macabre kind...they bill themselves as a death oompa band....and are inspired by such things as Strumpelpeter a story from Victorian era Germany that even as an adult I find rather disturbing. Anyway I'm listening to a track of theirs as I type that is very mu
