Oddly, my favorite muckraking Caps reporter hasn’t spilled the beans on what’s going on with Jose Theodore yet. All we hear is that he left New York for “personal reasons,” has been practicing with the team, and plans to travel to Montreal, but possibly not play. In a nutshell, what the Express said. So of course, what are we supposed to do but make up wildly inaccurate rumors and spread them on the internet? Welcome to the Jose Theodore Choose Your Own Headline Adventure: Here are my top guesses. So

Low Motivation:
I’m trying my best to grind out something useful, but there’s just nothing I’m throwing at that wall that’s sticking right now. Within the next few days, I swear. I’m kicking around a post on “Overrated Prospects R Us” in the wake of the Filatov Abandonment and looking at another on “Things I Want To See As Game Giveaways” Until then: HELLO!

Things I’m Thinking Tuesday:
*The whole JS Giguere/Jonas Hiller/potential retirement/not wanting to play backup thing seems so so SO VERY POTENTIALLY SIMILAR to what the Capitals went through with Kolzig. With the important distinction that Giggy does have a Stanley Cup. (Yes, I just went there. Sorry, this is not the Kolzig Fangirl Blog. Much like Nylander, I’m taking a firm Great While He Lasted, Really Nice Guy, So Long And Thanks For All The Fish stance.) For the sake of my continuing to like him, I hope he takes a more mature stance on the whole thing at the end of the season than Kolzig did.
