Cheetos, Sammiches & Ocean air… by my side.
Family. The word alone speaks volume in my life. It’s a big deal, family that is. Family is a big deal. With the holiday quickly approaching, my mind has been buzzing. Stay or do I go? Yes, I would love to move away again, but then there is my “Family.” Growing up, I can remember every major holiday always being spent together. It was not just a matter of visiting for dinner, we literally picked one house and slept there on Christmas Eve, played games, ate, sang, together. Just because…
I was just there for support I suppose you could say, but these are a few of the shots I grabbed while there…. and again, I Love, Love…
Live like you’re dying…
It was just a few days before my 30th birthday, June 9th to be exact. The morning started out as it always does, until I saw it. It!. It seems so surreal even now, months later. As I read the blog, I sobbed. I mean I cried as though the news was about me. The news… He has brain cancer. He would be David Wenzel. Recently, I spoke about the awesome photographer, Jasmine Star, and how I felt I knew her, because her blog was so open into her life and her work, well the same goes for Amy Wenzel. David would be her husband. While away on busine
