A Long Update
Monday May 16th. Hey! I made it again!!  Can not believe I am updating everyone just a week later.  Well that was my goal.  Let me see here. This one’s for Aunt Jennie in VA!!  I’m told she has a favorite!! :) Monday we hit the chiro again.  My friend Kristina was there at the same time.  Boy, did we draw some looks!!  Her kids are 8yo twin girls, 3yo girl, 5month old foster baby
Parenting Kids With RAD
I know some of you feel that Katie and I talk bad about our adopted children – like we do not love them.  That is not the case.  We love them very much, we just know their abilities and disabilities.  When Jill was diagnosed with cancer – we talked about it.  If we had a child with diabetes we would talk about it.  We have chosen to talk about the kids’ mental disorders in an effort to help other parents know they are not alone.  There are a lot of people out there that feel helpless when it comes to their RAD kids – like nobody understands what they are dealing with.  They tell people about the things their kids do and everyone thinks t

Melanie made an excellent point. I can count on one hand the people we know in real life who comment on this blog. I can count on two fingers the people we know in real life
That Time of Year
It is that time of year again… time to start gathering up firewood for the winter.  Winter will be here before we know it and we better fill up the woodshed so we are not out looking for wood in the snow and ice. Please excuse the quality of the photos.  My cell phone does not take the best pictures, especially in low light conditions. Today I had to drive to Jefferson City for part of a job interview.  It was a nice drive, but it took 3 hours to get there, 4 hours at
