The Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra starts it’s concert season at the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Auditorium in Laredo , Texas at the Laredo Community College campus . The concert tittled “Popular Orchestral Gems”, popular numbers played by the orchestra are as follows.. ” “Revelry” by American female composer Lowell Liebermann, the premiere of “Estampas Mexicanas” by Mexican composer Joe Elizondo. The Laredo Philharmonic Chorale along with the orchestra did numbers from Verdi’s opera Aida and popular chorus – Handels “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah. The Grand finally consisted of Local High Sch
