Moving Forward
Seeing how I will be moving into a new apartment the next few days, I figured the title of my post would be most fitting. Not only am I moving into a new home, I feel as if I'm moving forward mentally and professionally. The last few months for me have been wonderful, but I feel it's just the teeny tiny tip of the iceberg. The end of the year is swiftly coming and I have bigger and better goals, and much more to be responsible for next year. While I have done very well as a model so far, I have not (despite doing a handful of great films this summer) put nearly enough effort into my real passion, acting. Duh! One of my biggest goals over the next few weeks is to enroll
This week.....
Well, I did the shoot for Nintendo on Friday, and other than some contract issues, everything went pretty well. It was a somewhat long day, and I'm sure it could have gone a lot faster than it did. Either way, I'm grateful for the work. I'm still on hold for Kodak, but I don't feel too confident about booking that. My agent told me that the clients were going to choose the talent after hours today, but it's a bit after 9pm and I still haven't heard anything. They are shooting over the next three days, with each model only shooting one of the days. There's still a chance I can book for the 22nd or 23rd so I'm trying to hold out hope. :/Did I
More Progress
So, this past week has been nothing short of eventful. First off, I was released from the hand sanitizer commercial the day before filming. I was so upset! That's the third commercial in less than a month that I've been placed on hold for, and then released from. Throw me a TV commercial bone please!!*sigh*In other (better) news, I have booked a role in a short film that I'm scheduled to begin shooting on the 22nd. I'm supposed to be shooting for two days. I originally auditioned for the lead, but was given a smaller supporting role instead. My ego wanted to be offended but life's too short for that crap, I'm still doing the fil
The Next Disney Princess? (Most fun audition EVER!)
Well, this past week or two was nothing short of productive and successful! Where do I start......? This may be a bit long, but pretty interesting. There will be lots of exclamation points in this post so brace yourself. There was a casting posted on Actor's Access last week for girls to portray Princess Tiana (from the new Disney film "The Princess and the Frog") at the private screenings that will be taking place in NYC this holiday season before the film's wide release. I'm a huge fan of animated Disney films and have been following this film for over a year, so I was geeked about the chance to be a part o
Updates
I'm a horrible blogger! Horrible I tell ya! I'm very sorry to everyone for taking so long to update with another post, I've just been feeling so burnt out lately that my blog has taken a back burner. I work my "day job" Saturday/Sunday/Monday and spend the rest of the week auditioning and going hard core with submissions and research. It can be so exhausting. My problem is that I go a mile a minute for as long as I can and then BAM! I just shut down and lose steam for a few days. The problem with that is my "To Do" list piles up and then the vicious cycle begins all over again. I'm sure most of you can relate! This isn't to say that I haven't
