A change
I need to make a change. A change in my health. I weighted myself today and I was mad at myself. I'm at 291lbs. I'm normally at 270lbs. So it's time to do things my way. The way I like to do things. Not letting myself feel limited by people views of my training and ways. My life and health is mine alone.
Meditation
Meditation brings wisdom; lack of mediation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what hold you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.” (Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C.)
Submission Only VI
I been getting ready for US Grappling Submission only. Snap, pop or nap I'm ready to give out whoopings.
Taking care of myself.
Everyday I train. If it's lifting weights. Drilling Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Walking with 50lbs on my back. Biking for a few miles. If I'm even lucky. I'm sparring against someone. I never stop training. I take care of my body. It's all I have. My health is more important then anything to me. If I'm not healthy I can't fight. Fighting is what keep me going and it makes me happy.
My story about me enter The Renzo Gracie 2009 Invitationl part 1.
I first found out about the invitational a few months ago. I started training soon after. Everyday I am in the gym lifting weights, drilling Judo and sparring when every I can. I train at Renzo Gracie DC every Saturday. It’s the only free time I have to train Jiu-Jitsu. There was two tournaments coming up before the invitational. I plan to enter both to prepare for the highlight of my year thus far. The first tournament I enter was Naga. Naga held their tournament in DC for the first time. I enter absolute open championship, no-gi advance and purple belt heavy weight division. I was the only person from my team there. I had to give it my all and learn what I must work on after the tournam
