Remembrance Day 2009
Remembrance Day this year was especially solemn with Prince Charles attending the ceremony at the National War Memorial in Ottawa. He was joined by the Governor General, Michaelle Jean, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and thousands of onlookers including veterans from the Second World War, the Korean War, and subsequent peacekeeping missions around the world.
