Christmas shoot…The Barr family
Last week you saw Lizzie and Ella on our blog. This week we had the pleasure of photographing their cousins, PJ, David, Maggie and little Liam. They looked sharp in their brown tones, and behaved like the angels their parents want them to be!!! We had lots of fun, and had a few moments to catch up with mom. We hope you love your portraits!!

Prospect Park, Brooklyn NY
Meet Benjamin. He’s 2 years old. Also meet Tango, a Vizsla that is Ben’s very best friend. This family were winners of our package offered during the Reaching U fundraiser from a few weeks ago. They live in Brooklyn, and these photographs were taken in Prospect Park. It was a perfect morning for a session. Afterwards we took advantage and visited Olga’s cousin Armando for an unexpected and delicious brunch with Mariana and their friend visiting from Atlanta. A perfect morning!

Pleasant Surprise
During the opening we were pleasantly surprised by a visit from our neighbors, Brian and Daniela Sassman. We spent some quality time together… funny because at home we always seem to be too busy working on the house, so as you can imagine, we really enjoyed the visit! The set-up of the studio had exactly the effect we were seeking… for people to feel at home and stay a while. We had a spontaneous little photo shoot of their son Billy…so cute!

Christmas session
Marylynn is the sister of our long-time friend and customer, Barbara Barr. When you visit our studio you’ll see one of her maternity portraits hanging on our wall. This week she was here for a session with her two little girls, Lizzie and Ella. We used a new backdrop, 100-year-old doors that were connected and painted. This doubled as a wall for our changing room! The girls were beautiful, and as sometimes happens, were able to capture some “emotional” moments as Ella was not really in the mood to be photographed. Still we got some great shots, and you get a sneak peak here… Thanks, Marylynn!!!

Clients and Friends Gathering…
Last Friday we had a small gathering of clients, associates, friends and family. It was a lovely evening with good food catered by Main St. Cafe and live Jazz guitar by Misha Fatkiev.
