The Apples of My Eye
What a beautiful weekend! It was sunny and in the high 60s to low 70s with a nice little breeze. We went to Apple Acres Farm to do our apple picking. Do you remember this post? It's hard to believe that he was
You Can Take the Boy Out of Ethiopia......
I'm sure I've mentioned before that when Petros lived in Ethiopia, they had goats (meich'chos). Quite a bit of the memories that he shares with us involve the goats or the cow. From what we gather, his oldest sister, Benshne, was in charge of the goats and Petros loved to play with them and to help out-one time he even lost one, and it made him cry!I took Petros and his cousin Avery to Smiling Hill Farm yesterday for an ice cream and to play. At first, he told me daily about his plan to stay home by himself with Maggie, the computer, t
Kancamangus Adventure
This Labor Day, we decided to go with Dan's parents to the Kancamangus Highway in New Hampshire. It's a great spot that goes up into the White Mountains with all kinds of stops to hike or explore. We loved stopping on Loon Mountain where we took the gondolas up the mountain and hiked through some tight caves. (Or as Petros likes to call them, "hugging" caves).
