I’m Thankful For…
It’s Thanksgiving time… We’d like to wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it. We’ll be signing off for the holiday. We’ll be back on Monday with holiday wish lists, the start of a big renovation project and adventures in LA.

Ep. 6: LA Apartment Hunting
The heartbreak of the move happened. Pollock stayed behind. I guess then that really makes this Episode of the LA Apt Hunt the saddest. The bottom line is… even if I could afford to pay $1500+/month for an apartment I’m just not sure that my new lifestyle is going to work for such a huge man dog. That changes my list a little bit, so now if I HAVE to get a place that isn’t 125 lb dog friendly, then so be it. Culver City/Mar Vista Studio $1050/mo. This is a 450 sq. foot studio lined with windows. It also has this weird cutout into the kitchen, and whatR

I just really like this room. I think Hank Moody would totally live here. I’m watching Showtime’s Californication right now so I’ve got Duchovny’s character on the brain. There is a serious mix going on here and its pretty cool. Fussy chair/modern side table, ornate console/modern art and so on.

Bowling with Kelly Wearstler
As you know, I’ve found my Southern ass back in Los Angeles. My trip across the nation was a quick and fun one. We drove straight, and I mean…….. straight. Our only real stop was in Vegas and it was a quick one. I did eat Prime Rib at midnight. I did double my money at the Roulette table and walk away with my winnings. However, I did not stay in the High Roller suite at the Hard Rock and bowl beside Kelly Wearstler’s fancy Mirrored Wall.

Sebastapol…I’m Coming Home
I love the name of this town, fun word to say. What might be loved even more is this home built in Sebastapol, CA. The house provides for great views of the landscape surrounding you. I have a friend who owns some property overlooking a small waterfall and they would like to build a small vacation home on that site. At 1,700 square feet, this house is modest in size, the whole front side is windows and the modern and simple style allows the environment to remain the center of attention. Could be a good fit. Designed by Turnbull, Griffin and Haesloop
