| Description: | Hello. I started this blog as an alternative to my EBay Blog. Gadgets?!? From Wikipedia comes this web definition : Gadget : A gadget is a small technological object (such as a device or an appliance) that has a particular function, but is often thought of as a novelty. Gadgets are invariably considered to be more unusually or cleverly designed than normal technology at the time of their invention. … I am just one person trying to start a small business on EBay by selling the various electronic toys I have collected over the years. I am not following some plan I bought from an Infomercial. I am not expecting to ‘Get Rich Quick’. I started selling on EBay late last year when it became obvious that the place I was currently working for was no longer going to be able to keep me working due to decline in business. During the ‘good times’, when there was plenty of work to keep all of us in the shop busy, I would always be spending what I had left after the bills were paid, on little tekkie gadgets I would find at Thrift Stores and Pawn-Shops. Even though the stuff I was buying wasn’t new, when I would find a cell phone or Pocket-PC type thing that was better than what I already had, I would buy it up. Eventually I would move on to yet another model, storing away all of the previous “finds” for later use. I never thought I would actually use any of them again, but for some reason, just couldn’t bring myself to get rid of it. Till Now anyway. As bad luck would have it, I had to leave my current job, and decided that I would not be going back to that type of work again due to the fact that being a mechanic was just getting old (and making me old faster along with it :-). So, having entertained the idea of selling on EBay some 4 years ago, but never having actually done it, I figured now was as good a time as any. Some of the things I sell are Books, Cell Phones, Pocket-PC’s, Home Stereo, Car Stereo and just about anything interesting I find with more functions than any one device should rightfully have.
