Boney M – No Woman No Cry (1976)
Within 2 years of Bob Marley writing this superb track, Boney M gave it a pop makeover. It somehow catapulted Boney M further and they enjoyed relative success across the world. I know that I grew up listening to them when I was very young, as they were my parents’ favorites.

DeBarge – Who’s Holding Donna Now (1985)
While DeBarge’s greatest track is “Rhythm of the Night”, this track, co-written by David Foster, is a very easy on the ears. If you have an ounce of R&B in you, then you will enjoy this tune. While it not be my favorite tracks, it’s pretty decent.

Pappa Bear – Cherish (1997)
It was one of Kool & the Gang’s biggest hits, and Pappa Bear enjoyed some airplay with this tune and their other lesser hit, “When the Rain Begins to Fall”. I remembered how the nightclubs back then used to love playing this track as the last tune of the night. I was never addicted to this song and the reason I have it in my playlist is to probably listen to it once in a blue moon, because the rapping weakens this track.

Jay Sean – All or Nothing (Album Review)
I think Jay Sean’s 2 tracks from his upcoming album, “Down” and “Do You Remember” are charting the billboard quite successfully. However, I think there are a handful of slower numbers which could be gems here. Jay Sean is certainly improving as the records are produced. This album would go down well with R&B pop fans.
ALBUM VERDICT: 6/10

Glenn Lewis – I Surrender
It’s a mixture of R&B with a little hint of rock. The chorus is rather catchy and is a perfect blend of the soulless verses though the end of each verses, just before the chorus, it provides a good pick-me-up. It’s not bad by an artist who claimed to be inspired by Stevie Wonder.
