Once upon a time I really enjoyed packing up our house and moving on…but I have to say that that enthusiasm has faded! We are moving .5 mile away from the house that we rent currently…but it feels like so much more work…maybe because this time we have furniture…or maybe because our time will be limited & I am working full time…or maybe I just don’t want to do it.

Just a little glimmer into our day today…We spent our day preparing the house for a nice interior “painting”…not to be confused with a public “spanking”…although after seeing & doing what we did today…a spanking might have been easier! My first grade literacy time starts w/ journal writing…the kiddo’s have the routine down! It is a fabulous way to start our time…I love seeing the students creating beautiful drawings and words to go with it.
