Heineken is promoting its online responsible drinking campaign, “Know the Signs” with a set of online videos seeded across the internet. Online at www.knowthesigns.com, the campaign features characters who have trouble handling their alcohol limits.

Fuji Xerox World’s Most Energy Efficient Copiers
Fuji Xerox New Zealand has launched the ApeosPort-IV range, a new series of high-performance copiers, digital colour MultiFunction Devices (MFDs) using 75 percent less energy than earlier models. The efficiencies come through a precision LED print head, a new Induction Heating (IH) fuser, a scanning unit using LEDs in place of conventional xenon lamps, and a specially grown toner than melts at lower temperatures. This print advertising campaign shows the energy efficiencies using power pylons and wind turbines often seen on the New Zealand landscape.
Gap Cheer Factory
Gap, the USA clothing chain, is preparing for the holiday season with “Cheer Factory”, an online interactive campaign designed to get more customers into their stores for customizable and wearable clothes. The American Family Association oraganised a boycott on GAP products over concern that Christmas was being associated with the pagan festival Solstice, but have suspended the action after Gap promised a more Christmas focused Old Navy ad.
MTV Thanksgiving Not Suitable for Use by Adults
MTV in 2004 launched three commercials promoting their shows as “not suitable for adults”. Thanksgiving, Ultrasound and Affair, each shot by David Horowitz on a handheld single camera, present gritty adult situations in which MTV culture should not be introduced.
