The Earworm...
This post is called the earworm because it is just a little insight as to what I have been listening to lately on the ole iPod. Earworms get in you head and stays there.I am going through my iPod and finding all the goodies. I have a bad habit of getting a song or album and not listening to it for some time. Worship...
Yesterday was a great day here at HGBC North Campus. We are seeing an increase in attendance and participation. That is exciting. We are not about numbers for the sake of numbers, but numbers are people!!We had some friends from Florida up here this weekend. It was good to worship with the Szymanski's. Wednesday Night Worship...
As a worship pastor, I must be sure to watch and be aware of the audience as we lead them. Sure I understand that we have an audience of One, but it would be weird if we went off and enjoyed the Lord while everyone stands and watch. That being said, I enjoyed the songs on Wednesday night, but they might have been unfamiliar to our people. Therefore, some connections were made but it seemed as though it was not widespread.So for all you worship leaders out there, be sure to gauge your people. Introduce new songs, that's ok. Just be sure not to be too aggressive with teaching. Give them a chance to meditate on the songs that you are singing.Set ListThese so
