It's finally here!!
Our dear friends Bobby and Holly are getting married today!!! The day has finally come!They moved down to Austin about a year ago, so we don't see them very often. It's so special that we get to be a part of this incredible day.

Thanksgiving 09
Hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving! We sure did but boy, were we tired at the end of the day!We woke up about 6:30 to get ready and head downtown for the turkey trot.Dad sure though it was funny to stick his hand in my armpit!

Oh so thankful
I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy thanksgiving! My pies are made and the pillow is calling my name. 6:30 will come early and the 8 mile course will be extremely challenging, but I'm so glad this new little tradition has started with my dad ( plus I don't feel so guilty when I consume an obscene amount of food afterwards!)I'm thankful that tomorrow my mom's side, ricardo's fam and now his sister's fiancé's family will all have lunch together. I think there will be a total of about 18 people!! Crazy!I'm blessed beyond measure to have so many friends and family members in my life that have all helped mold me into the person I am today.

tough times...
Yesterday I found out that my great uncle, my dad's uncle, was put on life support. He has been in and out of the hospital for about a month now. He's in his eighties and has faced a fall, which broke his leg and caused some sort of infection in his blood. He was ICU for a while until he was well enough to move to a rehab facility. They told the family he would no longer be able to live at home with his wife and has been in a nursing home for about 2 weeks now. Monday night, for what ever reason, he stopped breathing. They were able to get him breathing again and took him to a hospital in Waco but he now remains on life support. Please pray as the family has to make that tough

one year...
One year ago today I lost my childhood pup. It's a sad day and I am missing him. It's hard to believe a year has gone by. I am thankful that I had 16 wonderful years with him! Something about the love of a pet just makes it worth going thru something as hard as losing one. We miss you Prince!
