Holy Redeemer Church - International Day & Fun Fair
29 Nov 2009 (Sunday). Today CCD (Sunday School) celebrates International Day. All families were encouraged to come in their national costumes or colours and also to bring some local food for sale at the LMAG (Madies Mission Aid Group) food and fun fair A few Singaporean families came dressed in usual red and white (for the lack of any real national costume). Loy Krathong 2009
James & David went to school dressed in traditional costume on 2 Nov to join all Thais in theirLoy Krathong celebrations. In the evening, they joins the hundreds of people gathered around the lake of Binjisari Park near our home for more activities. Here are some photos of Loy Krathong.

Kao Yai Work / Holidays 20-23 Oct 2009
Taking the opportunity with Dad's offsite meeting being held at Kirimaya / Muthimaya resorts in Kao Yai, Mom, James & David went along since it was the mid term holidays. Thanks to Khun Viboon who drove the Quek family to the resort in their trusty Toyota Fortuner about 200km from Bangkok. The Quek family was treated to a fantastic villa with a self contained jacuzzi and swimming pool and all the comforts one can imagine. While Dad was at work, they managed to the visit the Bat cave witnessing 4 million bats leaving the cave at dusk in search for food, waterfalls and short treks at the National Park, ATV, BB M16 shooting etc at the Adventure Park, good food etc.

Pattaya Weekend Escapade
The Quek family spent the weekend of 25-27 Sept 2009 in Pattaya. Hilites were the Sheraton Pattaya, Jomtien Beach, Outlet Mall and the Nong Nooch Park & Resort. Like they say, pictures say a thousand words.
