New well for Lukodi Village, Uganda - from Soulfest 2009 W4W!!
Drum roll please!!! African drums, if you please :) Our Global Benefit Founder, Mark Warren, met with Conrad from ChildVoice International a few days ago and gave him a check for $10K that will be used to fund a new well for the Soulfest mission village in Lukodi, Uganda. Global Benefit raised the remaining funds for the project, over and above the $5000 that was raised at Soulfest's 2009 Walk4Water (W4W). Conrad left for Uganda shortly after the meeting with Mark and will be in Uganda when the new well is drilled. Talk about cool stuff!!
