| Description: | I started this blog after being inspired to attempt to find the original songs that were used sampled to create most of the Hip-Hop and R&B that I grew up listening to. No small task but everyone needs a constructive hobby. My quest began with a 9th Wonder Mixtape a friend gave me that showcased a lot of those samples. After one listen I was obsessed and haven’t stopped downloading yet. The only obstacles were the time and effort in the task of trying to find all that music online. If I was having a hard time of it, I’m sure others that were interested have had the same issues. So I thought, why not upload all this audio in one place to make it more accessible for everyone? Thus The SoulReservoir or TSR for short was birthed. |

A Tale Of Two CD’s Part 2
Seems that this is the year for Emcee's to follow up on the LP's everyone has deemed as an instantaneous classic. Just as "The Blueprint" series is to Jay-Z what "The Carter" is to Lil' Wayne, you cannot mention Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... and not immediately think of Raekwon. Well that is if you were bitten by the Wu-Tang bug back when the crew was its most viable as a unit.

I dug into my bag, retrieved my phone's earphones, started the music player and tapped on the various screen commands needed to let it know I only wished to hear "The Paradox".
