A busy month behind us
This past month has been one of the busiest times that I have had in my life. I took part in a five week long Spanish intensive that met from 3-6 pm during the weekdays. This meant that I taught from 7:30 to 2:40 at JCS and then hopped onto my motorcycle to take class from 3-6 at a local ministry base. I truly felt as though there were not enough hours in a day throughout the last month.
Making new friends
We have enjoyed the many informal social gatherings that have allowed us to get to know the new staff better. We have both met some wonderful people. Birthday parties, Footloose movie party, game nights, Spanish lessons... We have had a variety of opportunities to get to know each other better. A large group of us went to the beach two weeks ago. The beginning to this school year was far different than our last year for us. It was fun to be in the position of showing around new staff instead of needing to be shown around by others.
