Warm Wednesday, Cold Thanksgiving
SUNNY WEDNESDAY: Sunshine for your Thanksgiving-Eve here in Cookeville. We had a few sprinkles overnight that resulted in .02" in the CoCoRaHS professional 4" rain gauge. Expect highs to reach around 56° today with the sunny skies. Some other sections of Tennessee, around Nashville, will climb over 60°. On Thanksgiving, you'll need to dress warmly as a cold front brings some sprinkles and strong west winds. Highs only in the upper 40's with lows tomorrow night in the lower 30's. We can't rule out a changeover to snow late Thursday/early Friday. Speaking of Friday, if you're shopping you'll need to dress warmly as we expect a chill

Rain chances tonight (around 30%) with a low in the middle 40's. Mostly sunny on Wednesday, high 58°, then we go 'downhill' from there
Snow by Thursday Night?

*Latest Local Forecast*
RAINY SUNDAY: Current radar returns show rain moving up from the south this morning. Expect rain showers to move in to the Cookeville area this afternoon with highs only reach around 54°...we're going to be stuck in a rainy pattern this coming week and in a chilly pattern as well.
SNOW IN FORECAST: That's right, the 's' word is in the forecast. Look at the wording for Thanksgiving night. "A chance of rain or snow showers, low in the lowers 30's"
