We were never created to do life alone or to live out a purposeless existence. Yet for her, despite being surrounded by people, this feels like everyday life. Everything she is and does is motivated by one thing only. The approval and acceptance of others. Longing to be loved and accepted – she strives to be who she believes everyone wants her to be. I feel as if I’m undergoing an extreme makeover of sorts. Not one like you would typically imagine. Nothing on the outside of me is changing, but inside, it feels like everything is. Who I am, or who I have always believed myself to be, is….in the process of change and growth. I have to be honest and admit that many of these changes aren’t easy. Many of them are uncomfortable.
