My New Favourite City in America!!! San Diego!!
We just got back from a Conference in the United States and hands down my new favourite City in North America is San Diego. It is not overly large, has Hills, Ocean, Islands (Coronado), Suburbs (La Jolla), a great restored Downtown (the Gaslamp District) that is actually walkable, an Airport within a $10.00 taxi ride to the Downtown, and a kick-ass San Diego Zoo…(Sea World was just OK)… but the San Diego Zoo was great experience.

Very Sad News for Cabbagetown. A strong supporter of the Cabbagetown Community and all around good guy passed away yesterday and will be buried tomorrow. For years he led the Old Cabbagetown Business Improvement Area and worked tirelessly for the Community. Sadly since retiring a couple of years ago, he has been ill. Even through the pain, he had a great laugh and loved a good story. There are and will be few of the caliber of Carl Orbach…sleep well wonderful Carl…

The Kindle is Coming! The Kindle is Coming!!!
Over the past six months, I have been lucky enough to be part of a “Kindle Group” of 6 people. That means that the six of us can share whatever books are downloaded to the Kindle Account that we have access to…thanks to our friend Teri, who lives in the US.
For copyright reasons, the Amazon Kindle has not been available on the Amazon.ca web site but we have been lucky enough to travel to the United States a couple of times and were able to download books that were in our Kindle Group archives.
