Changes Are Complete… For Now.
Last week I said that I would be experimenting with different colors, a new header, the addition of some new artwork on a few of the pages, etc…  Well, I can honestly say that we’re done for the most part.  I hope you like what you see! J.M. Vergara over at Newdemonstration was kind enough to help us again and I am extremely grateful for his willingness and ability.  He came up with the beautiful new header that you see, as well as the graphics that you see here,

Can You Prove Calvinism to be True Apart from Pauline Scriptures?
Les Lanphere has decided to try and prove Calvinism without using scriptures written by the Apostle Paul.  I like this and think it’s a good challenge since he brings out scriptures found in the gospels and non-Pauline epistles.  So if you’re one of those who say that we only get our theology from Paul, then here you go, scriptures spoken by Jesus and NOT Paul. I’ve seen this sermon by John Piper before and was incredibly blessed by it.  I listened to it again this morning and again… blessed! I am always so encouraged by Pastor John when hearing his sermons, but this one really shows me the tremendous awe and reverence he has for God’s Truth. --God help me to find the diligence to study the scriptures in such a way that Your Truth will abide in me also!-- Be blessed as you watch and listen…

I’ll Be Experimenting Over the Next Couple of Days
As you’ve probably noticed, there have been some major changes with the blog since last night.  Color changes, blog header, a new background, and the addition of a “confessions” page with its own unique graphic.  It might look a little weird right now, but I just wanted you to know that its a work in progress!  I’ll be experimenting with different colors and backgrounds over the next couple of days until I get it just right.  I hope you can appreciate that! Thinking Deeply With Kevin DeYoung: Can God Know Everything and Still Give Us Free Will?
One thing that I like to do is challenge you, the reader of this blog to think deeply about God.  One of the reasons for this is because I feel as though I was not challenged in this area the first 8 years or so in my Christian walk.  I believe that I’ve been deprived theologically and just recently in the last 3 years have I come across deep thinking pastors and teachers who have caused me to think deeply about the Lord and the revelation that He has provided for us in t
