| Description: |
After writing my first play in the fourth-grade I knew that I wanted in on this gig called writing for life. I've been a TV news reporter, media specialist, freelance writer, and now, a children's author. Since 2002, I have published 60 fiction and nonfiction books for young readers of all ages. My fiction work includes the Julep O'Toole series (Penguin) and the new Secrets of a Lab Rat series (Simon and Schuster). In nonfiction, I've written about all kinds of topics, from video gaming to storm chasing, for publishers like Scholastic and Marshall Cavendish. I am fortunate enough to get up every day and do what I have always loved to do: write! |
