Photos from JECC returning home from Afghanistan
I just uploaded images from the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) home coming ceremony held just before midnight on Friday November 20th. The JECC deployed on August 26, 2009 to establish the new International Security Assistance Force Joint Command (IJC) in Kabul Afghanistan.

JECC team returns from Afghanistan
I just posted a new story about a team from the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command returning from a deployment to Afghanistan. During the tour, the 25-person team helped establish the International Security Assistance Force Joint Command. The team members participated in the planning and coordination of security in Kabul, key leader engagements, border security and development of a common operating picture and command and control planning. Veterans Day in Chesapeake
Last week, before the skies opened and we were flooded in a massive noreaster, the Joint Warfighting Center’s Brig. Gen. Sanford Holman went out to Chesapeake and spoke as that city recognized their veterans.
I have uploaded our photos to the USJFCOM Flickr stream and local NBC affiliate WAVY TV covered it as well.
Command holds musical tribute to veterans
People poured into the Chrysler Hall Friday evening for the USJFCOM annual “Salute To Veterans” concert. The concert featured an ensemble of the U.S. Armed Forces finest musicians playing a musical tribute to America’s veterans of “yesterday, today and tomorrow”.
Before the concert, the command sergeant major gave a champagne toast to our nation’s veterans followed by a cake-cutting ceremony with an “Original Tuskegee Airman” retired Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Grant Williams and the USJFCOM Chief of Staff Air Force Maj. General David M. E
