Mixing metal finishes always seems to trip people up (as does wood finishes but more on that another time). I am here to set the record straight. Mix away my friends! You'll notice that it has become fashion forward to mix metallic finishes with jewelry and clothing, well the same goes for interiors. And really there is nothing new about mixing metallic finishes in a beautifully designed space. Good designers have always done this. Anyone can go buy a suite of furniture with matching finishes but who wants a room that is so flat and boring? Today I thought I would share some beautiful images of San Sebastian, Spain. In college I went here to study abroad with my best friend. I obviously had an amazing time. I learned that the world is so big, I learned how to slow down, how to drink wine and coffee (slowly and with purpose), how to journal and draw, how to appreciate good food, good books and a long walk.
