Description: MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS meets moms where they are, and offers instruction and support in a relaxed atmosphere of caring, sharing, and fun! MOPS is primarily led by the mothers themselves with the addition of “seasoned, veteran” moms that are affectionately called “Mentor Moms”. A typical MOPS meeting includes: • A brief time to catch up with one another • We invite a wide range of speakers to discuss various topics • Break-out time in small groups to relate to and share advice with other mothers • A craft activity or demonstration • Yummy refreshments MOPS meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday 9:00-11:00am September through May Childcare is provided.
