Description: Grow in your sleep was born in Zakynthos in Greece alongside advanced serendipity, which evolved into Walk Innovation. It started with three friends, who were at a crossroads in their lives. We did lots of walking, talking, keeping journals and having lots of fun. What came out of this special place and journey is a new vision called walk innovation. Adam first tried out this walking and coaching method on me in the lovely mountains of Zakynthos. When Adam first told me about his vision, I was not convinced and can be a very hard woman to please and get on board with new ventures. I have done the motivational speaking conferences, network marketing meetings. None of them have unleashed my passion like this vision as it is so in line with what I believe in. I believe in connecting with the local community and working with one another to create a better world. I joined the wellbeing network about three years ago and created a team, which in turn linked me in with the local community and with a beautiful little place in the middle of Crystal Palace. Devon Burke Founder of (www.therapy4life.net) connected me to The Spirited Palace, which is a Vegan Caribbean Cuisine. This is a very special place where you think you are just coming in for great Vegan food. I went there for the first time in ages and felt like I had never been away. There was this guy who had missed his bus and stayed for about four hours. I also stayed along time and chatted about life, love and the universe. Everyone who goes there is made to feel very welcome and at home. It is like going back in time, when people had time for each other. I want to share something very special with you. I invited my friend Adam to come and join me with an event that I was part of and doing my first public speech on reiki. Adam and I had met at the annual Reiki gathering and connected, so though he would enjoy this event. Adam Shaw Founder of (www.walkinnovation.com) first spoke to me about going to Zakynthos after the event I was involved with. We went to The Spirited Palace afterwards. After a bit of persuasion, He convinced me to go to Zakynthos with him and the rest is history. You need to come along to find out more. It is more interesting than watching Deadenders We have many funny stories to tell you. So if you are at a dead end in your life and want to move forward then please come along. We would like to share what we have learned with you and want you to join us for the afternoon. I would like to invite you to come along to a this very special event on Saturday the 11th of July at the Spirited Palace, 105 Church Road, Crystal Palace, SE19 2PR. The event start at 2pm and finishes about 5.30pm. Feel free to stay until very late. So if you want to have lots of fun and meet likeminded people, then we would love you to come along. Please bring your friends and family. Age is no barrier; we welcome anyone from four years old until a hundred. So if you enjoy walking, talking and meeting new people then this will be a great afternoon for you to try something different. We get the same as we always get if we do the same as we always do. Please bring with you, a smile and comfy walking shoes and maybe some rain gear, always best to be prepared. We will then finish the walk shop with tea and cakes and a good old fashioned chit chat. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday the 11th. Please book your place with Kelly on 07752041503 www.growinyoursleep.com and pass this on to anyone who you think would enjoy this very special day.

Hungry For Change?
Yesterday I finished a 7 day fast. I had done a 10 day fast last year so knew what I was in store for – at least I though I did. My memories had become very different from the true experience over time!   Detoxing is something that I do occasionally to give my system a flush and raise my energy levels. The outcomes are increased energy, motivation and drive. Not to mention extra time, where I would have been eating.   The experience also comes with challenges. Not eating is not natural to most human beings. Changing the habits of a lifetime are never going to be an easy task. I have seen my will power stretched and undergone numerous trials and tri
Free Hugs
On Friday I joined my friends at the Stress Management Society for World Mental Heath day. Here we spent the day giving out free hugs and promoting our services to relax, unwind and be happier with life. During the day our efforts were met with a variety of responses. One woman was very vocal in her disapproval of our methods - resisting the notion of giving hugs away to promote anti-stress services! Whilst it is clear that not everyone understands the inherent need for tactile contact that we all have, some people fully understand it. I hugged many people on Friday. Perhaps the most memorable moment came from an old lady. She came up to me and told me that she had not been
Discovering New Parts of St Albans
It never ceases to amaze me how Walk Innovation unfolds. Last Sunday I went out walking and discovered a wonderful part of St Albans that I had not seen before. Since I love going out in nature I thought that I’d discovered all of the local areas that ticked all of the boxes for me. However, I was soon led to a park that I never knew existed. This leads to the question “Where else in my life have I been missing out by staying in my comfort zone?” I can certainly tell you that it has led to some big realisations.  I now know that there are many opportunities that are available to me that I have not been noticing. By doing the same thing repeated times and
