A rather obvious sign
Well, this view is from the 2 minute pitstop along the Rogue River last night. It’s a horrible photo that happened a moment after the steelhead and lept out of that seam of water, and disappeared again. The fact that I didn’t string up a rod and fish, didn’t really strike me as a sign I was out of balance or on the wrong priorities. It didn’t becuase I don’t like driving after dark, and I was pushing to crest the pass between Medford and Bend before it was completely dark. Never fear Wandering has not ceased!
Wandering has not ceased, not at all, but I’ve fallen far behind on writing and posting about adventures. I’ve logged many miles back and forth to Medford for work, and managed to throw in some fun in the gaps, but haven’t left anytime for composing and writing. It was a relief when the Moraine Lake trail forked off and the crowds disappeared. Moraine La
A Chicken Story for Kim
Dear Kim- I’m so sorry to hear about your chicks doing chicken olympics all night and keeping you awake. Now I know you love your baby chicks, but I also know there is another side to you girl, and I know that those chicks better settle down or else……which reminds me of a story…. A true chicken story…… when James & I were neighbors and his landlady Anna had chickens, they would come over under his window and scratch around and just do batty chicken things when he was trying to sleep. He tried to scare them off, he tried all sorts of things. There were two young roosters and they decided that the best place to have thei
