Description: When Does it End? When does the sadness from something that shouldn’t be so sad end? When does the soul begin to regenerate itself and become that happy girl and not the morbid one? Why do human relationships have the power to knock you down for the count and make you nothing more than wasted garbage festering in an alleyway? I guess the answer is when it is time and that is different for each person. The hurter doesn’t hurt, so there is no healing to be had. The one who is mortified and whose soul is twisted around with a wrench has that extra mile to go. She is the one who will read self help books, take too many sedatives to escape a few hours of pain, who will talk to her friends about the pain, and who will cry. She will cry not just for herself but for the person who said he was what he was and was not. She will kick the ground in fury. She will walk 7 mile trails in hopes of finding beauty to overcome the sadness that seeps into her shallow and immature heart. She will hope that one day she will find that man who makes her heart leap and not flop. She hopes that one day she will find within herself the ability to recognize a man with a heart and not a man with lip service. She will hope. Until then she will accept the reality that a man hurt her not physically but mentally. She will try to make some accord with this. She will tell herself that a mind are the reality, but bodies just the vessels. But right now she hurts. She was lied to and condescended to and that mix kills the human spirit. One would much rather be physically beaten then be scarred mentally and emotionally, because after all those scars heal, the other linger and become the ones that tell one’s self that “they’re no good.” She is sad. She will be sad for a while. Because she really liked this man, and she thought he really liked her. So, she is sad.
