While we wait for any news on this… WW still gets mentioned as priority on entertainment sites… this time on mania.com and tho, they list justice league as number one priority (seriously people… its not gonna happen) Wonder woman, is right next on number 2. 2. Wonder Woman Seriously, why hasn’t this happened yet? Wonder Woman is the last of DC’s big guns to get the big screen treatment and she is the one who is most deserving. A Wonder Woman movie could be the big budget action flick with crossover appeal that every studio is looking for.

Five Projects for DCE to Jump On, Day 2: ‘Wonder Woman’
There is a womanly dignity to this character. She is about empowerment, love, and showing women that they are strong, beautiful creatures that can do anything. DC Entertainment Gives New Hope for Comic Book Movies.
Following the Disney acquisition of Marvel, and now seeming a response to that deal, Warner Bros. has announced a new company called DC Entertainment, which will apparently be an umbrella for DC Comics as well as, presumably, whatever film projects the WB plans to adapt from its publications. This may just be another false promise that the corporation is finally getting its shit together in order to compete with the more prolific Marvel Studios, but DC fans at least have a new hope
