Description: Welcome aboard! I am currently a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I transferred to the Daytona Beach campus in August 2009 from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I am pursuing a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus track on Astronautics. This blog is devoted to keeping track of my progress, commission, studies, and the tasks I am performing to get involved with our nation's space program. Establishing a career with NASA is an ambition of mine and furthermore, becoming an astronaut is my ultimate challenge and lifetime goal.

Happy Thanksgiving!
The hatches are open!
At 1:28PM EDT, STS-129 members are greeted and welcomed by the station crew. There are now 13 astronauts on board the orbiting outpost and preparations for resupplying the station are already underway.

It was an epic and beautiful launch today! My physics professor allowed our class to go out and view the launch and the view couldn't have been more amazing! I was able to track Atlantis well after the solid rocket boosters separated using my binoculars. The sight was just tremendous!
STS-129 crew is set!
Tomorrow is big day for the STS-129 crew! Space shuttle Atlantis is scheduled for liftoff tomorrow, November 16th, at 2:28PM EDT. Weather has been marked at 90% favorable conditions. LIVE coverage of the launch will begin at 10:00AM EDT.
