Trent Family Photos
We are having entirely too much fun lately with all these fall family photo sessions! This one was by a creek and an old paper mill; these old stones are fantastic, and the weather was perfectly autumnal with just enough of a nip in the air. I must’ve subconsciously chosen this outfit to wear because I had talked to Wendy previously about what she had planned for the family to wear. Ken snapped this photo when he realized that Lindsey and I both coordinated with the family’s outfits!
Meet Lila Jane!
OK, that title is really just a teaser, because I’m saving the photos from our session til after the birth announcements go out. But I had to update the story from the previous post with Nita’s maternity photos, and let you know that it’s a girl, and everyone is safe and sound — and beautiful!
On our way to their home, I told Lindsey, “Here are the rules: #1 — you have to wash your hands before you can hold the baby. And #2 — I get to hold her first!” She protested that it wasn’t fair, but I pulled the “I’m the mom and I sai
Fun Fall Family Photos!
Say “fun fall family photos” five times fast. Go ahead – try it!
(Yes, I’m a goofball!)
We’ve been doing quite a few fall family photo sessions lately, and having so much fun with them, so I’ll be posting here and there about a few of the sessions. Though it’s raining like crazy as I type this, the weather for this session was just perfect! Take a good look at young Alex’s eyes, especially in that last photo; they are the most gorgeous shade of green surrounded by blue — the girls are gonna swoon when he’s a bit older!
Ang & Rob’s family portraits (and two very fast dogs!)
We’ve had the pleasure of doing Angela & Rob’s holiday photos for the past three years now, and it’s always fun. Last year we had them up in a tree, since Rob is an arborist — although in my very un-expert vernacular, I usually say he’s a “tree guy.” This year we kept them out of the trees, but we did include their two adopted greyhounds (former racers) in some of this year’s family photos.
Star was the first dog to join the family.
Happy Birthday, Mom!
This is my beautiful mom…
Today is her birthday, but we celebrated yesterday at a lovely little tea house called Tea Leaves & Thyme in downtown Woodstock, Georgia.
Thanks, Mom, for being beautiful you, inside and out. I love you and I’m so thankful to have you as my mom!
