We'll miss you Bugaloo.
Ladybug took a turn for the worse last night so we had to say goodbye this morning. We don't know why she went downhill so fast but it truly was only a matter of time for her. We adopted her when she probably 7-8 years old and we had her with us for almost 6 years. I don't know about her life before she joined our family, but I know she lived a happy life with us. We always joked about how special she was...in every sense of that word...but
Sunday Seven (with pet updates)
1. Just a typical night out in Ned. This picture can't possibly tell the story but while having dinner, a group of people came in dressed up in pretty random attire with a few musical instruments. Sunday Seven
1. We went to a community Thanksgiving dinner today at the fire station. Every year, the town puts on the dinner and it's completely free to the residents. It was pretty decent too. Didn't know a soul but it was still nice to get out and mingle. 2. We also took a drive up to Eldora to check out the slopes. It's about 5 minutes from here so I know there will be some skiing in our future. I've never skied before so even the bunny slope looked a little scary. lol3. Haven't seen New Moon yet but I'm itching to go. Thinking that will be a good Thanksgiving movie. 4. Watching the AMA's tonight with the fam....good TV. 5. Chocolate
Sightseeing
We took a drive today over to Estes Park. It's about an hour from where we live so it's a relatively quick and beautiful drive.   Along many of the roads you can see evidence of old mining towns.
